Q & A App
HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN BE ENROLLED IN EACH CLASS?
The state sets the student limit to 15 per class, and we usually have 2 classes per grade level.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The program is funded by the state. It is offered at no cost to students.
IS ATTENDANCE MANDATORY?
Yes, attendance is very important. Since space is so limited, many students are on a waiting list for enrollment. According to state mandates, students who miss four consecutive days are dropped from the program.
IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Yes, transportation is provided for your child if needed. Please contact Ron Skallet or the Transportation Office at 218-681-7077 to make arrangements or for any transportation changes during the year.
MY CHILD RECEIVES SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES, CAN THEY ALSO BE ENROLLED IN BOOSTER CLUB?
Yes, however, remember that space is limited. We try to give first priority to students who are not currently receiving any special services. If there is still room in a particular classroom or grade level, students involved with Special Education Services can be enrolled.
WHEN IS BOOSTER CLUB HELD?
During the school year, we hold classes after school:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40 - 4:20.
Summer Booster Club is usually held Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 12:00.
Please see the calendar for actual dates.
WHO QUALIFIES FOR BOOSTER CLUB?
Students are referred to the Booster Club by their classroom teacher. Classroom teachers know when students can benefit from our program. They refer students in the fall and spring of each year.
